The picture on the left is a shot of a bedroom from a five bed Georgian Townhouse. Full project management of this 5 bed, 5 bath, 4 reception room makeover for overseas clients. House was stripped back to its shell and the task started to re-instate it back to its former glory. Even the garden was redesigned, it had to be as access was only through the house. So low maintenance paramount. Close attention was paid to all original features for example cornice and ceiling roses. Solid French oak flooring throughout with marble from front door to back on the ground floor. All fixtures and fittings sourced locally. In some cases furniture specially designed and commissioned by master craftsmen.
On initial consultation with the clients, a clear brief was given, maintain all original features and rejuvenate those that had not stood the test of time. Keep the lines clean and simple while keeping that grand old look, and most importantly create a family home. The clients arrived to a turn-key, beds dressed, fires lit and decorated for Christmas!
